There were six passengers in the ill-feted helicopter (9 NKA), according to the Fishtail Air. The deceased four are from a single family, they are Kitman Gurung, 60, his wife 56-year old Agyani, postnatal mother Priti Gurung and her five-day son, of Sirdibas VDC-2 of Gorkha district, said chief district officer (CDO) Narayan Prasad Bhatta.

Similarly, other deceased are Laxmi Gurung of Sirdi VDC-2 and a health worker Nisha Tamang of Itahari, Sunsari. Tamang was the health worker associated with PHASE Nepal, an NGO.

Ranjan Limbu was the captain of the helicopter. RSS
