Dashain is the main festival in Hindu Religion.And Nepal Panchang fixed the good time to take Teeka in Dashain.In dashain people take teeka and blessing from elder.They enjoy it as their main festival by taking delicious foods ,wearing new clothes ,playing cards etc.
